Read my review of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, by J.K.Rowling.

What's the basic story line?


Harry Potter is a wizard. No one can disagree with this.He is in his fourth grade in a wizard school, Hogwarts. However, this year is another dangerous year for Harry. In this year, there is a Triwizard Tournament happening in Hogwarts.  Harry Potter is selected as a participant by Goblet of Fire, a magical goblet. Harry has to fight with dragons, mermaids. Harry won the tournament in the end, but Harry realized this was a trick. Someone was making Harry to go to where Voldemort will rise again. When Harry touches the cup in the middle of the final round, he was taken to a dark place so Voldemort can use Harry's blood to rise again. Harry fights with Voldemort. A miracle happens. Because Voldemort's wand and Harry's wand was made out of same Phoenix's feather,  so something happens that allows Harry to run away.


Do you like the characters?


Yes, all characters have different personalities. Harry is always brave. He fights for his friends, and the world. Although he is special, he is always modest. Ron isn't brave or anything. However, he is kind to everyone except for his enemies. He wants a good friendship with Harry, and Hermione. As for Hermione, she is so clever and helps Harry to learn new spells so he can win the tournament.


On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being best), how would you rate this book?


I would rate this book a 9. Author does a marvelous job of making a complicated story, describing everything and etc. However, the only thing I didn't like about this book is that the book is too long. Sometimes this makes people give up reading the book. so i hope it will get shorter when other books in the series comes out.

Ode to Beach

Splash! Run into the beach

And water on my brother was so huge

My First Camp Experience in NZ

   Well, I lived in New Zealand for 2years, and I went to a camp (I cannot possibly remember the name of it) for a week. This camp was the first camp in my life, so I was actually kind of nervous about it. On the other hand, half of my mind was really looking forward to it.

   When I first arrived at the camping place, it looked so gigantic that I got scared. Then I went into this marvellous room which was a place I'll be living for a week. "This place is really good. I'm scared. Am I going to do well in this camp? I don't know what to do." I thought. However, this way of thinking changed right away.

   It was then when I changed my thoughts. I went to the opening ceremony happening in the enormous gymnasium of the camping place. I saw a lot of students there who were unsure of what to do. I was so relieved that I wasn't the only one that was first time in the camp. I felt so lucky that I could participate in this amazing camp.

   To conclude, my first camp experience in New Zealand was such a horror to me because I didn't know anything to do, but I loved this experience because I experienced new things and I'll be comfortable in GLPS too!!!
